Background:

Environmental Resources Management submitted an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) for the Yellowtail Development Project to the Guyana Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in October 2021. Following public review and incorporation of initial comments, a redline version of the ESIA was re-submitted in January, 2022.

Services Provided:

Ciera conduct a high-level review of the Yellowtail Development Project ESIA as requested by the Guyana Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) and the Guyana Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). This review focused on a high-level analysis of the ESIA's gaps in relation to best practice.
